Disney’s Little Mermaid INSPIRED Makeup Tutorial

Whether you know me in ‘real life’ or through my blog, or social media, you will most likely know I’m a huge Disney fan. One day a few weeks ago I decided to film and just play with my makeup; I didn’t think I’d actually really like what I came up with. Once I’d started on the eyes I knew I wanted this to be a Little Mermaid inspired makeup; it was just too mermaid-y to not go that way!

Watch: Little Mermaid Inspired Makeup

I went with green eyes, purple brows and a red lip; all colours associated with The Little Mermaid, Ariel. Like this look? Don’t forget to subscribe and I’d love to know which Disney princess/villain you’d like to see next.

Products Used:

Eyes:

Prep eye lids using LA Girl – Pro Conceal

I used Hatter, Heads Will Roll and Metamorphosis from the Urban Decay – Alice in Wonderland palette

I then use Lily from the Urban Decay – Alice in Wonderland palette; to highlight the brow bone.

In the centre of the eyelid I used a foil shadow from Makeup Revolution in the Rose Gold shade. Later on in the tutorial I then use the same product but in the Platinum shade to highlight the inner corner of the eyes, brow bone, cupids bow and tip of nose.

As a smokey liner I use the Younique Splurge Cream shadow in Whimsical

For mascara I applied my Maybelline Lash Sensational to the top and bottom lashes.

Brows:

I filled my brows in as normal using my Billion Dollar brows pencil and the L’Oreal Brow Plumper. I then used one of the purple shades from the MUA Poptastic eyeshadow palette to fill in my eyebrows further.

Base:

Maybelline – Fit Me! mixed with the NYX White foundation mixer

Sleek Makeup – Contour palette in Light

Collection – Lasting Perfection Concealer

Soap and Glory – Love at First Blush

Sleek Makeup – Solstice Highlighting palette

Lips:

Red Lip liner by Kiko Milano (I have no idea of the name, sorry!!)

NYX Matte Lip in shade Monte Carlo
